Vauxhall plans full schedule for Canada Day 2025
Canada Day 2025 in Vauxhall will be full of excitement.
“It’s a special event that brings people near and far to celebrate,” said Town of Vauxhall Chief Administrative Officer Cris Burns. “It’s an opportunity to connect and have some fun.”
The fun, Burns says, will begin at 8 a.m. with the pancake breakfast, which is sponsored by Vauxhall and District Chamber of Commerce and will take place at the Vauxhall Community Hall (located at 417 4th Street) until 10 a.m.
At 11 a.m., Burns says, the Canada Day Parade will begin. That event will be followed by the Show and Shine, which will begin at 12 p.m. at the Business Center on 2nd Avenue and run to 4 p.m. In addition to that, the Jr. Spurs Baseball Game will be at 12 p.m.
The Demolition Derby, Burns says, will then begin at 1 p.m. north of the Community Center, with the gates opening at 12:30 p.m., and will feature a concession, beer gardens, and live music.
Finally, Burns says, the Alumni game will be at 6 p.m. at Jets Stadium, and fireworks will end the day at dusk.
“Without all the groups coming together this event would not happen, and the community wants to thank all the volunteers for their hard work,” said Burns.
