A 44-year-old Two Hills woman is dead following a collision between a sedan and a semi-truck on Highway 41 near Highway 640.

Two Hills RCMP received a call about the collision around 8:48 a.m. on Feb. 5. EMS pronounced the driver of the sedan deceased at the scene.

The investigation has revealed the car and licence plate had both been reported stolen.

Preliminary information suggests the car was travelling northbound on Highway 41 when it crossed the centre line into the southbound lane. The semi-truck was unable to slow down and avoid the vehicle in time.

RCMP say the car struck the semi-truck and spun onto the right shoulder. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.
