Mac passed away on Jan. 12, 2021, at home in Comox, B.C., at the age of 82.

Mac was born and raised in Nelson, B.C., and lived there until 1994 when he and Clare decided to move to Pincher Creek.

There they bought a small farm and Mac realized his dream of raising
horses and cattle. His horses were his pride and joy and our friends in Alberta are a lasting treasure. Retirement came in 2014 following a move to Comox to be closer to family.

Mac is survived by his wife, Clare; sons John (Marieke) in Comox and David (Keiko) in Japan; grandchildren Jessica, Kaitlin, Bella, Maddy, Christopher, Angela and Alicia, and great-grandson Jayden; as well as his sisters Muriel-Louise and Audrey-Mae and many nieces and nephews.

Mac was predeceased by his brother, Terry, in November 2020. We imagine they are together now and likely getting into mischief.
