Obituary for Linda Uzeffa Walper

Linda was born to Egnacy (“Fritz”) and Emily Budzich in Westlock, Alta., in July 1953. She is survived by the love and partner in her life of 52 years, Allan; her children: Shane (Angela), Tina, Cherity, Trevor (Michelle) and Curtis (Shawna); as well as her cherished grandchildren: Jordan, Corey, Kayne, Chase, Kayden, Jordan, Emily, Isabelle, Jacob, Harlow and Amaya; and her precious great-grandchildren: Annika, Olivia, Tyson and Bowie.
Linda is also survived by her brother Frank (Phyliss); her sister-in-law Vivian (Don); in addition to several nieces and nephews. In countless ways she was also loved by her many friends, as they have been inspired and touched by her.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Fritz and Emily; her brother Don; sisters Lila and Daley; sisters-in-law Terry and Ann; brother-in-law Willie; and nephew Michael.
Linda’s bubbly personality, her pure zest for life, her smile, her positivity, her caring … did we mention her smile, and the sunshine that was within her life continuously! She will be remembered for her passion and compassion for all who were in contact with her during her life. This brief biography does not speak of her many awards, accomplishments, accolades and recognitions that she has received throughout her life. It is simply sharing a part of her humbleness, kindness, and caring personality. Linda’s wish is that her family will continue to honour her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
“Linda, the world is a far better place just because you were here.
You will be forever missed by all who know you!”
FOREVER – UNCONDITIONAL – LOVE
A service in celebration of Linda’s life will be held at the Rimbey Church of the Nazarene, 5214 51st St., Rimbey, on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at 11 a.m. with longtime friend Pastor Terry Oke officiating. Interment will take place in the Shoal Creek-Linaria Cemetery, Westlock, at a later date.
