Obituary for Brenda Barr (Pelletier)

May 12, 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Brenda Barr (Pelletier) of Lethbridge, Alta., on April 1, 2021, at the age of 59.

Brenda was born in Pincher Creek on Jan. 28, 1962, to Lionel and Jean Pelletier.

Brenda was a true animal lover and always had a great interest in the outdoors, especially gardening. She also had a long list of hobbies she enjoyed, including wheat weaving, dog training, curling and many more. If you didn’t see Brenda at the curling rink, she would be at a dog show, Beauvais Lake or Waterton enjoying time with her family and friends.

Brenda is survived by her loving parents, Lionel and Jean Pelletier; daughters Samantha Barr and Emily (Chris Stremel); grandson Max and granddaughter Shantae; sister Cheryll Hutchinson (Bruno Dudler); brother Darrell Pelletier; nieces Ashley Campbell and Jennifer Hewison; nephew Stephen Dudler; as well as many other close family and friends.

Brenda was predeceased by her favourite uncle, Archie Pelletier, whom she had many fond memories of, and will be getting into trouble with him in heaven.

As per Brenda’s wishes, no funeral will be held, and an ash-spreading ceremony will be held at a later date. She will be forever missed.

Rest in peace, Brenda.
