Two Lloydminster residents face drug trafficking charges after police executed a search warrant at a local hotel room.

Members of the Lloydminster RCMP Crime Reduction Unit searched the room on Dec. 17 as part of an ongoing drug investigation, according to Lloydminster RCMP. Officers seized cocaine, cash and drug-trafficking paraphernalia.

Curtis Martineau, 53, and Kailey Marshall, 35, have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.

Both have been released on conditions and are scheduled to appear in Lloydminster provincial court on Jan. 13, 2026.

“This search warrant is part of our continued commitment to targeting drug trafficking and associated criminal activity in our community,” says Cpl. Jason DeCoste of the Lloydminster Crime Reduction Unit. “We will continue to proactively investigate these crimes.”

Anyone with information about drug trafficking or other criminal activity is asked to contact Lloydminster RCMP at 780-808-8400 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
