A truck stolen from Coleman, a car and licence plate stolen from Coalhurst, and a licence plate stolen from Nanton were recovered Oct. 20 by members of the Southern Alberta District RCMP Crime Reduction Unit and Coaldale RCMP. A black generator, also believed to be stolen, and a number of jerry cans were recovered as well.

The investigation also resulted in the seizure of weapons, methamphetamine, cannabis and fentanyl.

The 29-year-old Coleman woman is charged with two counts of possession of stolen property and a 24-year-old man is charged with two counts of possession of stolen property, failing to comply with a release order, possession of a prohibited weapon and failure to comply with a prohibited-weapon order.

Both are scheduled to appear Dec. 1 in Lethbridge provincial court.

Another 24-year-old man was arrested on six outstanding warrants along with new charges of possession of stolen property and failure to comply with release order. He was remanded in custody after a judicial hearing and will appear in Lethbridge provincial court Oct. 27.

The fourth individual, a 29-year-old man from Lethbridge, is charged with two counts of possession of stolen property, two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited. He was released from custody following a judicial hearing and will appear Dec. 1 in Lethbridge provincial court.
